چکیده
Seaweed liquid fertilizers (SLFs) contain macronutrients, micronutrients and trace nutrients essential for microalgal growth. The study aims to evaluate the efficiency of SLFs on biomass production, biochemical physiological processes; was carried out at different SLF concentrations selected seaweeds i.e. Kappaphycus alvarezii, Gelidiella acerosa Turbinaria ornata. comparative analysis growth performance two unicellular green alga three organic media suggest that fertilizer from red seaweed highly efficient than prepared brown seaweed. rate N. oculata D. salina in K. alvarezii as culture resulted 1.25 1.21 times higher control whereas G. it 1.17 1.1 control, respectively. In contrast, T. ornata treated groups, 0.59 0.68 lower maximum concentration values recorded were 0.474, 0.422, 0.194 g/L productivity obtained 0.034, 0.030, 0.014 g/L/d, grown 0.534, 0.497, 0.305 production 0.038, 0.035, 0.021 also suggests pigments, protein, carbohydrate lipid contents significantly control. Given performance, response algae SLFs, best yield 10%, 8%, 1%, However, 6%, 2%, Overall, findings more enhancing pigment, signifying their potential application an alternative commercial media.

EFFECT OF TEMPERATURE ON THE LIPID CONTENT IN Nannochloropsis oculata, Dunaliella salina AND Isochyrsis galbana FOR BIODIESEL PRODUCTION
Microalgae, an autotrophic organism has been established as a potential source for biodiesel production. Suitable candidates from marine origin have been selected as viz., Nannochloropsis oculata, Dunaliella salina, and Isochrysis galbana. The microalgae were grown in controlled conditions and an assessment of their growth rate and lipid productivity were made. To analyze the effect of temperat...
متن کاملLipid and Biomass Production by the Halotolerant Microalga Nannochloropsis salina
The effect of environmental factors on cell-lipid content, on the growth rate and on the overall productivity ofNannochloropsis salina was tested in the laboratory and in outdoor cultures. Under optimum conditions in the laboratory, the maximum growth rate (#max.) was 0"030 h -1, which corresponds to a doubling time of 23 h. Cellular lipid content was affected by the phase of growth and the tem...

Background: Microalgal lipid is a promising feedstock for biodiesel production. The aim of the present study was to investigate the effects of cultivation temperature on the growth and lipid accumulation properties of Nannochloropsis oculata microalgae. Methods: Nannochloropsis oculatacan grow in a wide range of temperatures (5 ~ 35°C). Late in the stationary growth phase of microalgae, bi...
متن کاملEffects of overexpression of a bHLH transcription factor on biomass and lipid production in Nannochloropsis salina
BACKGROUND Microalgae are considered promising alternative energy sources because they consume CO2 and accumulate large amounts of lipids that can be used as biofuel. Nannochloropsis is a particularly promising microalga due to its high growth rate and lipid content, and the availability of genomic information. Transcription factors (TFs) are global regulators of biological pathways by up- or d...
